'Baby item' baby shower corsage
Forget flowers! Creativity and imagination are combined to turn little baby items (like rattles, pacifiers and booties) into beautiful floral-looking arrangements. Wrap the baby item with a small silk flower with floral wire. Secure beads or ribbon with a hot glue gun. Pin the corsage on the honoree with a diaper pin.
For a professional look, head to your local floral shop to see if they can combine the baby item with fresh flowers.
Floral baby shower corsage
Go traditional and adorn the mother-to-be with a beautiful floral corsage. Choose an appropriate flower (like tulips, gerbera daisies or pink roses) but stay away from flowers associated with funerals (chrysanthemums, red roses, lilies and carnations.) Make sure the corsage matches the baby shower colors!
A corsage can be ordered from a flower shop or created by hand. If making your own, gather the flowers and cut each at a slight angle. Add filler flowers and wrap with the stems using green or white floral tape. Add a bow or ribbon.
