The baby shower cake:
A cake is decorated to look like a baby shower present. Using a few supplies, this cake is a fairly simple addition to your baby
shower menu.
Decorating the cake:
Start out by making a 9x13 inch cake of your choice. Freeze before frosting.
Make a double batch of our basic
white frosting. Reserve 1 cup of frosting and dye light blue (or pink if it's a girl.)
Proceed by frosting top of cake with white frosting, and the sides with 3/4 cup light blue frosting. Pipe light blue border
along the sides of the cake.
Top off your cake by adding a real fabric bow. This can be taken off before serving cake. Add extra cake decorations if
desired, which can be found at your local party supply store.

Make this baby shower cake with any color scheme- seasonal, favorite colors, tie-dye, etc.
