This recipe can be used for two 9-inch pans, or one 9 x 13-inch pan.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees farenheit. In large bowl, combine flour, sugar and
salt. Melt chocolate with butter and water in heavy saucepan over very low heat. Combine chocolate mixture with flour mixture and mix. Add sour
cream, vanilla, baking soda, and eggs. Mix with electric mixer for 2 minutes.
Pour batter into greased pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Cool. Before frosting, place
covered in freezer for at least 2 hours.
