The baby shower cake:
A baby shower cake is decorated to look like a baby stroller. Easy enough for amateur cake decoraters!
Decorating the cake:
Prepare a jelly roll-sized cake, your flavor choice. Freeze cake before frosting.
Prepare a triple batch of our basic white frosting. Dye the frosting light blue with food coloring.
Cut the frozen cake in a circle, and proceed to make a carriage shape by cutting out an 'L' shape at the upper right section of the cake. With this extra section of cake, cut out two circles to be used for carriage wheels. Frost entire cake and 'wheels' with 2/3 of the blue frosting.
With remaining 1/3 of the frosting, pipe a lattice pattern on the surface of the cake. Proceed to pipe on blue frosting according to our photo.
